"Charlot murals". Hawaii Chinese Journal. November 26, 1953.
Charlot murals—Jean Charlot, professor of art at the University of Hawaii, recently completed two murals (see in the picture above) for the College Inn, the completely remodeled and modernized restaurant located at 1442 University Ave. This spacious eating place, with a seating capacity of 130, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is excellent for family parties, especially for children, because no liquor is served. The owner of this artistic and comfortable restaurant is Raymond K. Sanaga, who has operated the College Inn for more than 10 years. The public is invited to come to the College Inn and look at the Charlot murals. (Advertisement.)
