Dearest:
Sunday was in Charlotte. I gave a talk to a group of young people, mostly high school. On return, had evening at Mrs Walsh, where I made sketches of the dog, a Boston bull (?). It seems St Philip had a pet dog so there should be one in the picture.

They did not dislike them but wondered what would happen to St Philip. So now they know.

He is quite happy with the way the wall turns out. Very much as I had in mind: like an old tapestry full of foliage. It certainly makes the church look much bigger than it is.
