Let's see how long it takes to arrive! Telephone bill was over 2 dollars at the hotel so I felt it was perhaps too much of a luxury. Also I can give you more details writing.

Dearest: Yesterday after posting my letter went to see a fellow who works at State Medical Center, does medical drawings, anatomy etc..

Worked alone again all day long. Yesterday was the opening of the Art Dept. show of students work and faculty and students are all there.

From the U. Library went to Andersson's for cocktail. Then dinner: Texas steak, then they deposited me at St Edwards' College, run by brothers of the same order than the fathers at Notre-Dame.
